Mel Palomo

My name is Melvin Palomo, and I come from a family of three children, where I am the middle child. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, I began my career working in the financial services industry. During that time, I was a State Farm customer, unaware that this connection would shape my future. It was my State Farm Agent who recognized my potential and offered me a position in their office, marking the start of my journey with State Farm.

In 2007, an exciting opportunity arose for me to become a State Farm Agent. With the unwavering support of my wife, Michele, whom I married in 2009 here in Los Angeles, I took the leap and opened my own State Farm office. Over the past 17 years, this role has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to help people protect what matters most through Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Condo, Life, and Health insurance. As a small business owner myself, I also deeply understand the unique challenges faced by fellow entrepreneurs.

Above all, my greatest joy is being a father to my three wonderful children, ages 13, 9, and 7, and a devoted husband to Michele. Our family proudly calls Northridge home. Much of my free time is spent coaching my kids’ baseball and softball teams—a role I value as much as my work as an agent. When we're not on the field, we enjoy family movie nights, swimming, leisurely walks, and bike rides around the neighborhood. To start each day energized, I prioritize early morning exercise.
